By William Butler Yeats
The quarrel of the sparrows in the eaves,
The full round moon and the star-laden sky,
And the loud song of the ever-singing leaves,
Had hid away earth's old and weary cry.
And then you came with those red mournful lips,
And with you came the whole of the world's tears,
And all the sorrows of her labouring ships,
And all the burden of her myriad years.
And now the sparrows warring in the eaves,
The curd-pale moon, the white stars in the sky,
And the loud chaunting of the unquiet leaves
Are shaken with earth's old and weary cry.

Was that not amazing? His choice of words astounds me.
And yes, I am alive and I do have some things I hope to post soon.
Until then,
~Steffi

I don't have odd taste in music!
Oasis is not odd. They wrote one of the most incredible love songs of our time.
...then again, what's a wonderwall, anyway?
Exactly...that always confused me...But yes, Oasis is a bit odd.
*cough*
I'll save you Steffi...in whatever way I can. I'll gently pull the tape from your beautiful lips and erase the ink from your hand, and hold it in mine. I'll let your lips form the words I cherish - any words you speak. They all mean so much.
Again, if you ever need anything at all, I'm here.
With love,
- Ian
Not to interrupt your rather romantic reverie, but now that I think about it, maybe Noel and Liam made up that word. They do engage in a lot of.....err, substance abuse.
That was a rather inspiring poem, Steph! *plans to draw something when she has the time/will*
